Contra Costa Cannabis Ordinance Goes to Planning Dept. for Adoption
OnWednesday, May 23, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. the Contra Costa County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on adoption of a proposed Cannabis Ordinance regulating commercial cannabis activities and the personal cultivation of cannabis in the unincorporated area of the County. The meeting will be held in Room 107 of the County Administration Building located in Downtown Martinez, 651 Pine St. Martinez, Ca 94553
The Item to be heard by the Planning Commission is described as follows:
County File #ZT18-0003 and RZ18-3242: A hearing on a County initiated zoning text amendment for adoption of aCounty Cannabis Ordinance regulating the establishment of commercial cannabis uses in the unincorporated areas of the County including retail sales, cultivation, delivery, manufacturing, testing and distribution of both medical and recreational cannabis. The ordinance will also regulate the outdoor cultivation of cannabis for personal use. The ordinance has been prepared in accordance with the Framework for Regulating Cannabis in the Unincorporated Areas of Contra Costa County as approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 24, 2018.
